This Privacy Policy describes how Beyond Entity ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information in connection with the Beyond Entity platform (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Authentication credentials (encrypted)
  • Team and role information
  • Billing contact information (for paid teams)

1.2 Information We Do Not Collect

  • Credit card numbers or CVV
  • Bank account credentials

Payment information is processed directly by third-party payment providers.

2. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide and operate the Service
  • Authenticate users
  • Manage teams, projects, and access permissions
  • Process billing and invoices
  • Provide customer support and service notifications

3. Customer Content and Access

  • Customer Content belongs to the Team that created it.
  • Beyond Entity accesses Customer Content only to operate and support the Service.
  • When a user is removed from a Team, access to that Team’s Customer Content is immediately revoked.

4. AI and MCP Usage

  • AI features may generate code or explanations based on Customer Content.
  • MCP allows AI to consume structured definitions directly within the Service.
  • Customer Content is not copied to external AI chats by default.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share data with:

  • Payment processors (billing purposes only)
  • Infrastructure providers (hosting and storage)
  • Authorities when required by law
  • For payment processing, certain personal data may be shared with Paddle.com, our payment provider and Merchant of Record.

6. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained while the account is active.
  • After termination, data may be retained for a limited period for legal or operational reasons and then deleted.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including:

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS)
  • Access controls
  • Audit logging

8. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in regions where our service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to protect your data.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal information
  • Request correction or deletion
