From Requirements to System Design

Create a project folder and place the materials your team already has. They can be requirements documents, design files, ERDs, API specifications, spreadsheets, or reference materials. Ask AI to analyze them and create an initial system design in Beyond Entity.

Recommended Workflow

Step 1

Create a Project Folder

Create a folder for the new project. Add requirement documents, existing design documents, ERDs, table definitions, Swagger / OpenAPI files, interface documents, business rules, and meeting notes.

Step 2

Ask AI to Create a Design

Use your IDE and AI assistant to analyze the project materials. Example: "Analyze the requirements and design files in this folder and create a Beyond Entity system design."

Step 3

Review in Beyond Entity

Review the generated design visually. Check data model, API model, processors, integrations, attribute-level lineage, security context, missing requirements, and ambiguous flows.

Step 4

Refine the Design

Ask AI to update the design based on review feedback. Example: "Update the BE model to separate admin APIs from user APIs and mark personal information as sensitive."

Step 5

Generate, Modify, or Review Code

Use the approved design to generate code, modify existing code, or review whether implementation matches the design.
